Vice President Joe Biden was at the Bently Reserve on January 18 for a fundraising luncheon. The event was followed by a more intimate fundraiser, with only twenty donors in attendance.

The White House has said that Biden would later meet Bay Area Technology leaders to discuss the economy. Doctor Jill Biden was also in the Bay area, visiting wounded soldiers at the VA Palo Alto Polytrauma Rehabilitation Center. This was part of her Joining Forces initiative with first lady Michelle Obama; the program seeks to recognize, honor, and support veterans and military families.

The event at the Bently Reserve fundraised for the primary and general elections, as well as the Democratic National Committee. The fundraising luncheon was held in the Banking Hall, and followed with a smaller gathering in the Conference Center.

We're honored to have hosted the Vice President, and the Bently Reserve staff would like to personally thank everyone who attended or was involved with this fundraiser; it was a rousing success!
