the Bently Reserve

The History

THE BENTLY RESERVE IS CONVENIENTLY LOACATED IN THE HEART of San Francisco’s thriving Financial District at 301 Battery Street, between Sacramento Street and Clay Street.

...the Financial District is the city's commerce hub and features featuring many landmark destinations. Ranked as one of the top four financial centers in the nation, San Francisco's Financial District begins at Montgomery Street and extends east toward the Embarcadero Center, where you can find eight blocks of shops and restaurants. Jackson Square, with many historic buildings erected in the early 1850's, is a short walk from Embarcadero Center on the edge of the Financial District. The gorgeous skyline is marked by the cluster of high-rise towers that showcase the city's tallest buildings, including 555 California Street and the Transamerica Pyramid as well as other skyscrapers like 101 California Street and 345 California Street.

The Financial District is home to the city's largest concentration of corporate headquarters, law firms, banks, savings & loans and other financial institutions, such as the corporate headquarters of VISA, Wells Fargo Bank, the Charles Schwab Corporation, McKesson Corporation, Barclays Global Investors, Gap, and the Union Bank of California. Historic Montgomery Street, known as the "Wall Street of the West", is an epicenter of the district. There are several upscale shopping malls in the area, including the Crocker Galleria, the Embarcadero Center, the Ferry Building, and the Rincon Center complex.

Transportation from San Francisco International Airport is quick and convenient, as the Reserve is only 20 minutes (15 miles) north of the airport. Shuttles, taxicabs, and public transportation are among the available options traveling to and from the airport. When in the city, public transportation to the Reserve is abundant and affordable, including both BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) shuttles and MUNI cable cars nearby. The BART Embarcadero Station at 298 Market Street is located only 1/2 mile from the Reserve. From there, a short walk or a quick cab ride takes you right to our doorstep. The MUNI (San Francisco Municipal Railway) operates 80 routes throughout San Francisco with stops within 2 blocks of 90% of all residences in the city. There are numerous MUNI lines that stop at various points in the Financial District and Downtown San Francisco, with dozens of routes servicing nearby neighborhoods.

When staying in San Francisco for an extended period, a unique transportation and sightseeing option is the San Francisco CityPass, which includes six attraction admissions and a full sevenday MUNI & Cable Car Passport. All attractions are accessible via MUNI's cable cars and light rail, and the ticket booklet gives easy directions to San Francisco's most famous neighborhoods and landmarks.

Easy to find, conveniently located, and a pleasure to experience, The Bently Reserve offers the ideal setting for your next event!
